The Dream
I saw a tree but couldn’t touch it.
I saw a stream that wasn’t there.
I wanted love but couldn’t find it.
I wanted love I’d not found anywhere.
I had a dream of inner peace,
But to search I did not dare.
I had to have a full release
From the burden of my cares.
In my dream of fairest day
I roamed through endless time.
My cares were a thousand miles away.
I saw something to call mine.
In the land within my dreams
There were no burdens to be borne.
There was an answer to what life means.
The world was not war torn.
While moving through my dreamland,
I saw I was not alone.
There was Someone there beside me,
And His love to me was shown.
He had made my dream complete,
And had taken away my cares.
I knew that I could not compete.
Of His love I was aware.
Suddenly I found myself awake,
And back in my familiar bed.
I knew my life was a big mistake,
I wanted my dream instead.
Closing my eyes and bowing my head
I sank down onto my knees,
And in the prayer which through me was said,
I found my full release.
I’ve given my life to God now,
And I’m no longer blue.
If you want to know why and how,
Remember, dreams come true.

As you can see, this week’s blog is a little different. It’s the week before Christmas with all that involves. While I celebrate the birth of Jesus, His life, His death, and His resurrection, most of all I celebrate the difference He makes in my life. This Christmas, I wish you Jesus … to know Him, to love Him, to trust Him.

WOW Deanna! That is a wonderful poem! You are so gifted!! Love you! See you soon!
Worshipping the One who is completely trustworthy:)
